Concept Sketching

In March 2024, I put together a moodboard and environmental concept sketch once a day for 30 days. My project focused on research and clearly conveying an idea, rather than perfecting a finished product.

[ OVERVIEW ]

To break up the 30 days, I divided the project up into six subjects, with five concepts each. Each subject –– a themed storefront based on existing IP in entertainment –– included concepts for an exterior, interior, signage, window display, and merchandise.

Every day followed the process of sketching out a design, then adding a moodboard and notes to illustrate and clarify. I finished up the project with a case study detailing my research and process.
