FORGE
FORGE Expo is a conceptual game developer conference that helps attendees grow, connect, and build new skills. The goal was to create a strong, modern brand that feels high-end and inspiring.

Overview
FORGE Expo is a conceptual brand identity project for a game developer conference designed to help attendees grow, connect, and sharpen their skills within the industry. The vision behind the conference was to create an event that not only celebrates game development but also empowers developers at all stages of their careers to collaborate, learn, and innovate.
The design challenge was to craft a brand that felt modern, high-end, and inspiring, setting FORGE apart from typical gaming conferences that often lean heavily on playful or overly casual aesthetics. The goal was to position the conference as a premium experience, reflecting the creativity, craftsmanship, and professionalism of the developers it serves.

Logo Concepts
As part of this project, I designed a series of 36 potential logos. These were the top four picks, but I didn't feel like any of them truly embodied a modern, higher-end event.

Final Logo
I played around with geometry and eventually came up with a more geometric approach, building an alphabet from scratch based on quarters of a circle, semicircles, and straight lines. I adjusted parts of the letters to create a more interesting look when put together –– the 't', for instance, only has one side of the bar to account for better kerning.
